UPCS INSPECTION TRAINING
Landmark Inspection Services, LLC is available for In-House training for your staff.
Landmark Inspection Services, LLC offers effective training that will be a learning experience for each participant. Our training materials are derived from the improved actual material from HUD and years of experience in the inspection field. We offer three one-day training options. Training is customized to include field training, classroom training, or a combination of the two. At the conclusion of the training session, all trainees will receive a field guide which contains the official deficiency definitions.
The field training provides a first-hand experience of the inspection process, including all five inspectable areas. Participants accompany the inspector on a mock inspection of a property. They experience an overview of the inspection process, learn what the inspector is looking for, discuss deficiencies that can cause large point loss, get to view and receive an explanation of the deficiencies found, and get tips for mitigating deficiencies before they occur. It is our experience that the hands-on field training is the most valuable type of training.
Our REAC Preparedness classroom training includes: an introduction and overview of the PASS protocol, an overview of the inspection process, a software demonstration, deficiencies found in a typical inspection, the definitions with an emphasis on the most cited deficiencies found in the five inspectable areas, Life Threatening Health & Safety deficiencies, a power point presentation which covers the scoring system for inspections, suggestions for preventative maintenance to diminish re-occurring deficiencies, and a question and answer session. |
